Twara Robotics

At ARTPARK, IISc Bangalore, India

Twara Robotics, is a federaly funded startup based out of ARTPARK, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where I work as a Robotics Systems Engineer under the supervision of Dr. Kaushik Sampath. I joined as an intern in my senior year (2023) and was hired full-time as a Soft Robotics Engineer last summer.

I led the design, prototyping, and production of three catalog products—AMR-75, TGrip-1, and TGrip-2—while independently implementing and validating five robotic system POCs for real-world applications.

The TGrip-1 Datasheet and TGrip-2 Datasheet can be found below.
(Version release: July 2024)

As of January 2024, the TGrip-2 has an upgraded service life of 1.2 million cycles. Further testing is Ongoing.

Automated Mobile Robot (AMR)

Designed and manufactured two low-cost AMR variants using mechatronics design, CAD-CAM, sheet metal bending, wire harnessing, and soldering, with a 750W 1-tonne powertrain, the AMR-75.
